History
S.E.R.V.E. began its mission to
help others in the community back in 1979. The need lives on...and is
growing at a fast-paced rate. In July 2008 our food pantry saw a 153%
increase in demand, compared to July 2007. Your help means so much to
those who are in need. We are here to offer a hand up to those who are
in need of one. We offer financial and food pantry assistance. We also
offer budgeting and financial planning classes, basic computer skills
and job employment skills. We know that these skills are empowering.
Mission
To encourage individuals and groups to work together to
alleviate local human suffering by meeting the emergency needs of
individuals and families who are experiencing financial crisis, and to
promote programs to help individuals become more self-sufficient.
